Angela primarily dresses in an armored bodice and wide belt with a black leotard underneath for modesty, accompanied by patterned ribbons which float around her independently. In game, she adopts a different style, as seen below. She has distinctive markings on her face.
PERSONALITY
Angela's mantra, the life code that was passed onto her by the Angels who raised her, is "Nothing is for Nothing." That means that, while Angela does not give out favors, she always repays her debts. She does not leave loose ends hanging without tying them up. If someone helps her, she is sure to return the favor before long. At times, her "Nothing is for Nothing" mentality defines her, to the point where she will refuse to act if there's nothing in it for her. She has difficulty expanding her worldview to include other ways of behaving, and will resist any attempts to dissuade her from acting the way she wants to act. She has no problem causing trouble for other people, so long as her strict code is followed.

Angela does not let any obstacle stand in the way of her achieving her goal. No matter what that obstacle may be. Whether it's hordes of enemy armies, or the divide between Realms... if she has a debt to settle, she will accomplish the task she sets herself to. If something stands in between Angela and her goal, she would rather plow straight through it than find a way around.

Angela doesn't waste time debating plans. Instead, she rushes into the fray without thinking about the best course. This is shown when she and the Guardians of the Galaxy travel to the Badoon homeworld to rescue Star-Lord from gladiatorial combat. Rather than fight off the gladiators or try to convince the Badoon to let Star-Lord go, Angela beheads the leader of the Badoon and declares the battle over. While this saves Quill, it destabilizes one of the biggest martial forces in the galaxy, leaving a mess for other parties to have to come in and fix.

As evidenced by the above point, Angela believes that actions speak louder than words. As such, she finds it difficult to open up to people. Only those closest to her (Sera in canon, and a few people in Ryslig) know what is going on in her head. Even then, Sera infers from context more than Angela tells her outright. Angela lets her deeds do the talking. She's not one to "use her words." She also doesn't explain herself very well. When her infant sister, Laussa, was possessed by the spirit of Surtur, she embarked on a mission to rid Laussa of Surtur's influence without giving any of her comrades the full details. As far as they knew, Angela was just kidnapping and endangering the life of a baby, and expecting them to help her anyway.

You might not think it to look at her, but Angela can be kind hearted to those she is closest to. Particularly Sera, her ex-wife. Angela overthrew the Queen of Hel just to save Sera. That said, she has room in her heart for others, including the Guardians of the Galaxy, and her Asgardian kin, Thor, Loki, and Laussa. She has a particular soft spot for women, especially young girls, perhaps as she sees herself in them. Growing up, Angela's only family was Loriel, the Angel handmaiden who had saved baby Aldrif's life when the Queen of the Angels kidnapped her and planned to kill her. She was teased and tormented by her peers for having no wings, ostracized for being different. As she grew, she worked hard to secure her reputation as a fierce warrior, rising to the rank of Leader of Heven's Hunt. She put down insurrections of rebellious Angels, and slayed beasts that dared to threaten Heven's borders. It wasn't until she met Sera that she truly found a kindred spirit, worth protecting and loving— and being loved by in return. After all, "Nothing is for Nothing."

Both Angel and Asgardian societies are very strict; you have a given role and you stick to it. The women of Heven are warriors or hunters, and the men are priests, confined to a life of darkness and prayer. Angela, however, doesn't care about the set roles imposed on people. She only cares about who a person is on the inside, and the way they choose to behave. She values courage and bravery over all other qualities.
BACKGROUND
FAMILY
father Odin Borson, Aesir
birth mother Freyja Freyrdottir, Vanir
adoptive mother Loriel, Angel
siblings Thor Odinson, Aesir; Loki Laufeyson, Jotun; Balder Odinson, Aesir; Tyr Odinson, Aesir; Laussa Odinsdottir, Aesir
ex-wife Sera, former Anchorite
Aldrif Odinsdottir was the firstborn of Odin and Freyja, and heir to the Asgardian throne. When Heven waged war on Asgard, the Queen of Angels kidnapped Aldrif in an attempt to blackmail Odin into surrendering. He refused, and the Queen seemingly killed Aldrif before fleeing. Following this event, Odin used his powers to cut Heven from the other Nine Realms and Yggdrasill. After the Queen of Angels ordered the corpse of the baby to be disposed, the queen's handmaiden Loriel, who was tasked to do this, discovered she was still alive, and raised her as one of the Angels under the name of Angela. Angela was always mocked for being wingless and always sought her mother to comfort her, but at some point, Loriel mysteriously disappeared, leaving no trace behind. Angela eventually became the Leader of the Hunt and went to live in her own manor.

Sometime later, Angela was pulled out from Heven into the realm of Midgard as a result of the fracturing of space and time. An angry and confused Angela made her way towards Earth to take revenge on whoever had brought her there, unaware as to why she had been pulled out of her home dimension. She appeared on the Guardians of the Galaxy's Earth signal. Gamora intercepted the call and attacked Angela.[11] The rest of the Guardians managed to defeat her, and she was captured. After an interrogation, during which Angela spoke of her home and people, Angela claimed that she was only heading to Earth because she wanted to see it for herself. The Guardians realized they actually incited the fight, freed Angela and accompanied her to explore Earth.

Angela returns to Heven and is confronted with the truth of her lineage. Learning that she is Asgardian, the Angels exile her from Heven. Angela would go on to be declared níð and exiled from Asgard as well after she kidnapped her infant sister, Laussa and threw her into Heven's furnace to rid her of Surtur's influence. (Don't worry, Laussa survived.)
ABILITIES
ASGARDIAN PHYSIOLOGY (CANON POWER)
Like all Asgardians, Angela has strength, stamina, durability, and speed exceeding that of a normal human. Of these, her strength and speed are especially high, even among Asgardians, being the daughter of Odin. She can lift 50 tons, and can move faster than even the Disir, who are said to move faster than lightning. She heals at an accelerated rate, and ages so slowly as to appear immortal. She can also survive in the vacuum of space without oxygen, and survive intense third degree burns across her entire body. Additionally, as an Asgardian, Angela has what's known as the Allspeak, which allows her to communicate in and understand all the languages of the Ten Realms, as well as various alien languages.

Though Angela is fast, she cannot travel extreme distances at top speed without becoming tired. Her speed is more used for short bursts. She also is not immortal, and though she is durable, enough damage can still injure and kill her. Even with her enhanced strength, she is not the strongest Asgardian, and even she admitted that her younger brother Thor outmatched her in raw strength. While the Allspeak allows Angela to communicate in most languages, canon has shown that there are still some alien languages that Angela cannot understand.
MINOTAUR'S CURSE (CRAU POWER)
***CW CANNIBALISM MENTION***
During her stay in the Ryslig peninsula, Angela like all offworld captives was transformed into a "monster" by the Fog God. Angela's monster form was that of a minotaur. She gained horns, furry legs, hooves, and a tail, and increased strength and navigational sense. She became the perfect hunter, able to track prey for miles by scent and sound, and lure her victims into traps to get them alone. She also was able to lull her prey into a hypnotic daze by playing music. During the height of the Fog God's power, Angela could also transform into a full bovine form, able to travel longer distances and carry others on her back.

The true curse of Ryslig is that all of the Fog God's monsters have an insatiable hunger for humans. I am removing this element of Angela's monster form, and limiting her curse to only transform her into a minotaur during the New and Full moons, and any time when it is particularly foggy. Her transformation into and out of minotaur form is painful, every time. Though she will not have the compulsion to feed on human flesh to survive, she will still have an overwhelming need to hunt and heightened senses during these times, and if she tries to resist these elements of her minotaur nature, she risks losing her control over her mind and going on a monstrous rampage. Also, as a minotaur, Angela has a weakness to high pitched noises.
WORKPLACE
In Metaheroes, Angela works at Ascendant, an inconspicuous karaoke pub owned and operated by Kai Parker, located in that transitional space between the more respectable and sketchier part of Central City. It has no ties with either the Guild Alliance or The Society, marking itself as a burgeoning neutral territory. Angela works as the bouncer/crowd control, in exchange for a paycheck, and lodging above the club. In addition to this above-board work, Angela also takes mercenary contracts under the table when the job suits her.
APARTMENT
Angela's apartment above Ascendant is small, but comfortable. She keeps it decorated simply, with items she has picked up in trade for her services. In pride of place on the mantle is a metal dragon sculpture, that was made for Angela by one of her closest friends in Ryslig, Bethan Costigan. It is the only item from Ryslig that came through with her into this new universe.
